    What are the typical responsibilities for a Private PA?

    Private PAs responsibilities vary dependent on the HNW / high-profile families lifestyle and diaries. Typical responsibilities might include:- Diary management - Arranging travel itineraries including family holidays - Travelling with the HNWI / family - Overseeing household staff such as housekeepers and nannies - Managing personal property portfolios - Artwork & antique management including cataloguing and insurance - Arranging events. corporate or family celebrations - Basic book-keeping and managing household bills - Personal shopping - Cover for family office PA

    The majority of Private PAs do travel. The travelling expectations should be managed before a Private PA accepts a new position, although hard to agree on the exact duration out of the country an estimate is advised.

    Absolutely! Private PAs are often an extension of the wider household staff such as Butlers, House managers and Estate Managers. Some clients prefer Private PAs to be on-site which will offer further benefits to the Private PA as accommodation is paid for.
