Executive Assistant

An executive assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to executives or high-level management in an organisation.

Responsibilities may include

  • Provide administrative support to executives or high-level management
  • Manage calendars and schedules
  • Arrange meetings and travel
  • Prepare and edit documents and correspondence
  • Manage budgets and expenses
  • Provide general support to ensure that the executive’s day-to-day tasks run smoothly
  • Coordinate with other departments and personnel within the organisation
  • Ensure that the executive’s goals and objectives are met
  • Manage a team of other administrative staff (in some cases)
